Trotter was reported for engaging in rough conduct during last weekend’s Goulburn Valley League semi-final loss to Echuca.
Trotter was referred to the tribunal where he was found not guilty.
Euroa coach Scott Rowan said he was glad to have the defender at his disposal this weekend.
“He is excited (to be playing), I don’t think it was anyone’s fault in that incident, but the umpire saw what he saw,” Rowan said.
“Once we had a look at the video we thought it was definitely worth a challenge and it proved to be right.
“Blokes can make mistakes and we are just glad this one has been rectified at the tribunal.”
Meanwhile, two star Echuca talents will face the tribunal on Friday evening.
Gun ruckman Kane Morris and classy on-baller Jack McHale were charged by the match review panel following the win at Mansfield Recreation Reserve.
Two reports stemmed from the GVL’s semi-final fixtures at Kyabram Recreation Reserve on Sunday, September 11.
In the under-16 match, Kyabram coach Peter Hall was reported for engaging in any other act of misconduct or serious misconduct.
The report was amended by the Goulburn Valley Football Umpires Association to behaving in an abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene manner towards or in relation to an umpire.
Hall was found not guilty by the tribunal.
Later that day in the reserves match, Euroa’s Ashly Hobbs was reported for intentionally striking Seymour opponent Tayte Lewis.
Hobbs was offered a set penalty of two matches which was accepted.
In Kyabram District League, Stanhope reserves footballer Shannon Aynsley will miss the start of the 2023 season after he accepted a set penalty of two matches.
Aynsley was reported for engaging in rough conduct against an opponent by two umpires during his side’s preliminary final loss to Avenel last Saturday.
The Lion was offered and accepted a two-match penalty.
Lastly, a Kyabram reserves footballer was found guilty at last week’s tribunal.
Stephen Drake was charged with head butting an opponent or making forceful contact to an opponent using their head in the qualifying final against Euroa on September 3.
Drake was found guilty of the charge and was suspended for four matches.
