From January 13 to 14, three swimmers competed in the 2024 Victorian Sprint Championships at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
Amelia Baker swam a personal best in the 50m butterfly and backstroke, Koa Parker broke her personal record in the 50m butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle, and Ava Gordon swam a personal best in the 50m breaststroke.
Later this week, a large group of Seymour swimmers will head to Traralgon for the 2024 Victorian Country Long Course Championships.
The event will run from Saturday, January 20, to Monday, January 22.

To qualify for the event, swimmers had to meet specific times, and Baker, Lomax, Blackwell and Harvey-Bredden have all qualified as 9/10-year-olds swimming up in the under-11 age bracket.
The club wishes them the best of luck at the competition.
