The athletes who will compete in the 2032 Olympics in Brisbane are just starting their athletics journey.
There is no better time for young athletes to strive towards the top level.
Registrations are now open for the 2023-24 Little Athletics season.
The meets will be held at Seymour’s Kings Park on Friday nights at 5.30pm, commencing on October 13.
The meets return to Kings Park after being relocated due to the floods in 2022, and the club can now offer a full program of events, including:
- Track: 100m, 200m, 300m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 60m Hurdles, 80m Hurdles.
- Field: Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus, High Jump with the potential of Javelin.
The meets are for children aged six to 17 and are a fantastic way to focus on all aspects of physical fitness and get experience competing against other athletes.
Fees are only $105 for the season, which is approximately 18 nights.
