Quigg enjoyed a productive season at VFL level with the Giants, appearing 14 times throughout the season, averaging just shy of 12 disposals per game. He enjoyed strong performances against Sandringham in round three and Gold Coast in round 17, recording a season-high tally of 21 touches in both contests.
The former Murray Bushrangers skipper appeared for Seymour three times this year and his influence was felt immediately, named in the best on all three occasions and helping to secure wins against Mansfield and Mooroopna.
The mid-forward will head to Windy Hill under new coach Dale Tapping, a former coach of Collingwood’s reserves side who has spent the past three seasons as an assistant at AFL level with the Bombers.
Former Essendon forward Ricky Dyson has also joined the reserves coaching set-up as an assistant, as the Bombers look to make a move back up the ladder.
Essendon missed finals by a game in 2024, finishing 11th in the 21-team competition, with the top 10 playing on in September.
Despite a four-game winning streak to finish the season, the Bombers finished with a 9-9 record to miss, as minor premier Werribee went on to clinch the flag 12 months on from the heartbreak of 2023.
Southport midfielder Charlton Offermans and former Geelong reserves player Hamish Sinnott will join Quigg as new recruits from other VFL sides, while Calder Cannons prospect Noah Scott will also help add some depth to the side.
