Wednesday was a stableford round and the A-grade winner was Mark Fountain (7) with a nice score of 36 points on a countback from Kayne Falconer. The B-grade winner was John Mundy (19) with 33 points.
The nearest-the-pin on the fourth hole was Greg Pell and on the sixth it was Dave Hamilton.
A score of 33 points or better was needed to be in the ball pool and those went to Fountain, Falconer, Pell, Matt O’Sullivan and Mundy.
Saturday was a par round and the third and final round of the Winter Cup. The winner of the Winter Cup with an aggregate score over the three weeks of -10 was Bill Matthews.
In the daily results, Fountain (7) had the best score in the field again and won A-grade with a score of square. The B-grade winner was Roger Edwards (19) with a score of -1.
The nearest-the-pin on the fourth was Hamilton and on the sixth it was Dave Pearce.
The ball pool went to Fountain, Mick Prorok, Edwards, Paul Niebling, Falconer, Pearce, Hamilton and Bill Keating with -3.
The Friday social six holes this week is stabeleford over hole 10 to 15. Saturday is listed in the syllabus as a four-ball better-ball stableford aggregate round for the men and women.
