At last, the rain stopped and the hot humid days arrived for Pennant.
Mens Semi Final round of the Singles Championship.
Wednesday, December 11 - Jordan Thornton defeated Keith Mills 25/14
Jordan will play the winner of Andrew Hirst and Klive Liverton.
Andrew and Klive have scheduled their match for Thursday, December 19.
Both the Mens and Ladies Championship finals will be played together on a DTBA.
Midweek Pennant Round Nine - December 10.
Corowa RSL defeated YMGCR 56/55 and remain in third position behind Wodonga and Yarrawonga.

Corowa Civic 2 was the only team to win on Tuesday and came away with a 1 shot win over Corowa RSL, in A1 Civic went down by 7 shots to Wangaratta and in B2 Corowa Civic 1 were defeated by Yarrawonga by 15 shots.

Weekend Pennant – Round 10
Corowa Civic had a great round on Saturday with all three teams winning their matches.
A2 and B3 played their games at home, and B2 journeyed down the highway to Benalla to play Moira.
A2 defeated Moira by 9 shots, B2 had a big win against Moira by 33 shots and B3 inflicted North Albury’s first defeat of the season by 3 shots.

Corowa Indoor Carpet Bowls
The Sunday afternoon social bowls winners on 16 and 18 (34) were Peter Manning, Merylyn Milthorpe, and Jan Webber.
The runners-up on 16 and 15 (31) were Georgie Agnew, Joan Adams, and Gloria McCluskey.
Tuesday saw a good win of 17 and 18 (35) for Gloria McCluskey, Tony Coppolino, and Peter Manning.
With Wendy Dunbar, Ken Pleming, and Glenda Willet scoring 16 and 14 (30) to be runners-up.
Thursday’s winners on 16 and 15 (31) were Merylyn Milthorpe, Joan Adams, Ellen Buckley, and Betty Clancy.
With the runners-up on 14 and 5 (19) being the team of Nez Carnivale, Chris Hendry, and Ian Day.
The last day bowling for this year is on Thursday, December 19.
Restart again on Sunday, Jan 5 at 12:30. New bowlers, visiting bowlers, and anyone who would like to try bowls, are all welcome to come and have a bowl. We bowl three afternoons, Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. All equipment supplied.
