All players were very appreciative of our facilities and greens and a big thank you to the ladies who provided lunch on both days, also to the bar staff. Winners were Benalla White with Ballarat coming runner up.
Social Bowls has recommenced on Wednesday and Saturday, as from this week since daylight savings has finished, we will now commence play at 12.30pm.
Names are to be in by 11.45am either your names on sheet at the back gate or phone club house and leave your name.
On Wednesday morning 12 players participated, in lovely sunny conditions. A big welcome to our two visitors.

There were no social bowls on Saturday due to the running of the Edinburgh Shield on our greens.

The Easter Tournament is filling up, entries will be taken until Monday, 14 April 2025. Friday 18th consists of Open Triples – four games of 10 ends x 2 bowls. Saturday 19 will be Open Pairs – 4 games of 10 ends x 3 bowls. Sunday 20th will be Open Triples – 4 games of 10 ends x 2 bowls.

The Ladies Two Day Tournament sponsored by Corowa Chocolate and Whisky Factory will take place on Wednesday, 7 May and Thursday, 8 May.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on both days are included in the entry fee.
There will be three games of 10 ends each day. Entries to Eileen Ide, Annette Norman or Col Hendren.
The Recycle Stubbies Day will be on Sunday 27 April, commencing at 10.00am. Add your name to the entry sheet on the notice board.
Corowa Indoor Carpet Bowls
Sunday winners on 18 and 14 (32) were Peter Manning, and Bev Barron. With the runners-up on 11 and 15 (25) being Naz Carnivale, Merylyn Milthorpe, and Glenda Willett.
The Tuesday afternoon social winners on 18 and 17 (35) were Ellen Buckley, Tony Coppolino, and Gwen Mills. With the runners-up on 16 and 16 (32) being Joan Catlin, Merylyn Milthorpe, and Jan Webber.
Thursday winners on 16 and 10 (26) and countback were Gwen Mills, Tony Coppolino, and Jan Webber. With the runners-up on 5 and 10 (26) being Joan Adams, Gloria McCluskey, and Ian Day.
On Tuesday morning many members of the club attended the local Presbyterian church, paid their respects, and formed a guard of honour to Christine Hendry who will be much missed at bowls.
