The acclaimed comedian Tom Siegert, also known as the Suburban Footballer, will perform at the Tallarook Cricket Club on January 20 from 7.30pm.
Siegert found a cult following with his YouTube sensation The Suburban Footballer, a series of short sketches about the goings-on at a local suburban football club.
While he might be best known for his stand-up comedy, he has also written and starred in segments for The Footy Show and the Channel 7 series Kinne.
Tallarook Cricket Club secretary Mitch Itter encourages everyone to enjoy a night of laughs in Tallarook.
“We’re looking forward to a fantastic night at the club and would love to see plenty of old and new faces at the club,” Itter said.
“The Suburban Footballer has become highly sought after right across the country and I’m sure everyone involved in sporting clubs can relate to the content he’ll deliver.
“We’ve got tickets on sale online for $30, or rock up on the night and we’ll make sure you receive some of our welcoming and family-friendly Tallarook hospitality.
“This is a big event for the club having such a well-known performer coming to the club and it’s really a night not to be missed.
“Grab your family and friends, come to the ’Rook, enjoy a night of laughter with the bar open and finger food provided.”
