Seymour Railway Heritage Centre invites residents to take a special vintage diesel haul heritage train tour to Geelong on Saturday, February 23 to enjoy a family day out at Geelong’s annual Pako Festa, with complimentary Devonshire Tea.
Pako Festa is a much loved community street festival and the largest of its kind in Australia.
Pakington St, in the heart of Geelong, will be lined with stalls selling traditional foods, arts and crafts.
There will be six separate stages in the precinct offering performances of music and dance, as well as interactive workshops and exhibitions.
Sample more than 20 diverse cuisines — the smells and sounds will take visitors to another world.
Journey to Pako Festa in the Heritage Train hauled by blue and gold heritage locomotives.
Travel in their comfortable 110-year-old wooden-compartment carriages.
