Education Minister Ben Carroll said this is to make sure that kids are able to learn in the best environment.

“We’re supporting our low-fee Catholic schools to expand, build new classrooms and open new campuses.”
St Mary's College in Seymour will receive a $3.6 million boost to modernise its science facilities and expand student capacity.
St Patrick's Primary School in Kilmore is set for a major upgrade, with a $3.6 million investment to build four state-of-the-art classrooms, including a versatile breakout space and modern amenities.
“St Mary’s is a fantastic local school, and this project will mean the school will be able to grow to meet existing demand,” State Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes said.
The funding is allocated through the Catholic stream of the Building Fund for Non-Government Schools, specifically targeting improvements in school facilities and learning spaces.
Notably, non-government schools educate over one-third of Victorian students, with government schools receiving funding through different channels.
