Deni has proven it certainly does have talent, with an array of performers gaining rave reviews for the ‘Deni Has Talent’ concert on Saturday.

Over two hours, 15 acts showcased their incredible abilities to a full house of 125 guests.
There were musical performances from choirs and soloists, poetry recitals, musical pieces and more.
The event was presented by Deniliquin’s U3A in partnership with South West Music.
“It was great to see such amazing talent in the community,” U3A member Gayle Beckton said.
Given the reception to this year’s concert, South West Music is looking at making it an annual event.
Mrs Beckton said the event achieved its main goal, which was to continue to connect the community through the “unique talents of some of our locals”.
“We want to thank Edward River Council, the Pastoral Times and South West Music for making the night possible,” Mrs Beckton said.
“Overall the concert was a huge success.”
Hirunya Kumarasinghe wowed the crowd with a piano performance.
Sarah Duffey was accompanied by Paul Young on the piano.

Josh Parker impressed with his vocals, and his wardrobe.
Legendary local poet Alex Allitt was a crowd pleaser.
