St Joseph’s students at the Kildare campus will now have access to new facilities after the school completed Stage 2 of their building works.

Construction started in June last year and includes a technology building, science classrooms, food classrooms, art spaces, performance areas, canteen, new general learning space and additional learning enhancement provision.

St Joseph’s College Principal Anne Marie Cairns expressed pride and excitement as staff and students occupied the impressive new buildings for the first time on Tuesday, May 7.
“This is another exciting step forward for our college and wider community as we continue to expand our offerings as a multi-campus school,” Ms Cairns said.
“Our ongoing building works represent our dedication to providing a comprehensive and forward-thinking Catholic education for families in the Echuca-Moama region that prepares students for success in an ever-changing world.”

The Kildare campus is situated on 80 acres of greenfield land on Mt Terrick Rd in Echuca’s west.
This year the campus accommodates Year 7 and 8 students, and from 2025 Year 7 to Year 9 students will be based onsite.
Kildare campus director Jarrod O’Brien said it was an exciting time for the college, and staff and students were thrilled with the new facilities included in Stage 2.
“We are blessed at Kildare campus with wide open spaces and natural light-filled learning environments for learners to explore, be inspired, release energy and feel comfortable and at ease,” Mr O’Brien said.

Stage 3 capital works will begin at the campus in 2025 and include a multi-purpose learning centre with two indoor basketball courts, and space for performing arts, sport and physical education, community use and teacher planning.
