Sitting pretty on the car park wall of Stubbs Wallace against a sea of grey, 11 creative sparks have merged into one to form the Shepparton Access-made mural.

The project is part of the Shepparton Festival and the mural includes each of the artist’s takes on this year’s festival theme, Thrive.
“We discussed the theme at length, we talked about growth and then we landed on the idea of seeds, seed pods and nature, with a focus on plants and what you need to make them grow,” Shepparton Access staff member Lesley McLellan said.
The pieces originally started off 10cm by 10cm.
The group members individually designed their own take on the theme, with some incorporating native wildlife and environmental elements, and made them into lino prints.
Once complete, ink and all, the works were pieced together by a graphic designer and made into the print that stands today.
Issy Davis, one of the 11 artists behind the mural, said the group members were all pretty excited to see their works on show.
“We all did some different prints with different ideas, it’s all come together really well,” she said.
The artwork will be on display for a year at the Stubbs Wallace car park.
