Seymour Show is just around the corner, and this year’s competition schedule is now available for the community.
Happening on Friday, October 4 to Saturday, October 5, the Seymour Show will be hosting different activities, including the comeback of the wood chop event.
Exhibitors can also now place their entries online.
Seymour Show’s Pam Beerens said they encourage everyone who’s interested to put in their submissions as soon as possible.
“The show’s all going to plan,” she said.
The wood chop event, which hasn’t been showcased in the last three years is set to be one of the highlights of the event.
“We haven’t had the wood chop event in three years because they’ve had problems of getting a hold of timber to do it,” Ms Beerens said.
“As it is, we’re only one of the two regional shows in Victoria to showcase the wood chop event.”
Tickets are available on the day of the event, starting at $12 for children ages 13 and up, but kids 12 years old below can enter for free.
Tickets can also be purchased online for those who would like to plan.
