The Rotary Club of Seymour is filled with intelligent, sharp general knowledge experts.
So it was a competitive event when the club held its successful annual trivia night on Saturday, November 9, at the Seymour College Junior Games Hall.
A club spokesperson said a great night was had by all in attendance, with many testing their knowledge, putting on their thinking caps and answering trivia questions that covered a wide range of topics.
“Not only was there trivia run by quiz master Ian Moore, but a silent auction and raffles were available to make the night a very successful fundraiser,” the spokesperson said.
“Many thanks go to the Seymour College for the use of the Junior Games Hall, the Seymour Shire for their support with the Safer Community Funds towards the costs of hiring the hall and furniture.
“Thank you to the businesses in the local and broader community who donated goods towards this event for raffles or the silent auction, and all those who attended to make the evening the success it was.”
All funds raised on this evening will directly benefit local community projects, enhancing the lives of local people.
“The Rotary Club of Seymour looks forward to next year’s trivia night and supporting the local and extended community,” the spokesperson said.
