Sam Ludeman and Sam Russell began releasing original music as Sam and Sam in 2020, where they quickly achieved remarkable success and attracted loyal fans.
They have shared stages with notable acts such as Birds of Tokyo, Jon Stevens, The Veronicas and Olivia Newton-John to energise crowds and inspire dancing with their pop/rock and modern country sound – and last year, the duo had the privilege of performing Australia’s national anthem in front of 96,000 fans at a final at the MCG.
The Tastes of the Goulburn lineup includes Liam Blunts Funky Rhythm Train, a local five-piece playing Aussie rock classics, funky soul and blues, pop, top 40 and everything in between.
The Beekeepers, a tight-knit trio of childhood friends, will cover classic rock and grunge hits to get the party started.
Of course, the event wouldn’t be complete without a talented MC to keep the spirits up.
ABC Breakfast presenter Nic Healey, who hails from NSW but now calls Shepparton home, will be the official master of ceremonies.
“Right around the Goulburn Valley, we don’t just have some of the best food and wine on offer; we also have some of the best musical performers in the country,” he said.
“I’m excited to be able to help showcase just a little of what’s available in the region.”
The event will showcase winemakers, brewers, restaurateurs, producers, distillers, growers, chefs, musicians and entertainers from the Mitchell Shire, Goulburn Valley, Upper Goulburn, Nagambie Lakes and Strathbogie regions.
Entry price is $35 and includes an official event tasting glass, and the first 1000 tickets purchased will also receive a Tastes of the Goulburn tote bag.
