“I have thoroughly enjoyed being a delegate to volunteer community committees and support these groups who give so much to improve our community,” Sally said.
“I listen to people’s concerns in our community and have proven that I will raise issues and debate these in council meetings.
“I have enjoyed working with council’s executive team whose experience and strategic planning skills are vital to our financial sustainability.
“I will also challenge staff recommendations where community members have valid concerns.
“I believe that people are the most important asset of council.
“A focus on improving culture and well-being is key to council’s success.
“Roads are a priority for farmers, businesses and the safety of our community.
“I will continue to advocate for our fair share of state government funding to ensure continuous improvement to our extensive road network.
“If elected I will continue to advocate for sewer and water infrastructure funding from government so we can accommodate growth.
“I will support development that is well planned to future proof against heat, fire and floods.
I am advocating for improvement to Corowa’s hospital which requires funding for its emergency department and theatre.
“These upgrades are critical for our community and this ties in with the Albury Wodonga Hospital redevelopment.
“I am keen to engage with community on these two important issues.
“I wish all candidates the best for their campaign and ask that people carefully consider what each individual brings to the table.”
