Following the success of last year’s inaugural Euroa Apex Pro Rodeo, the event returned to Euroa showgrounds on Friday.

There were 170 entries from all over the county, including a lady from Katherine in the Northern Territory.
Eighteen events dazzled the 3600 spectators and 50 volunteers gave up their time to make it all possible.
The three-day event featured the regular action in the ring, as well as carnival entertainment, bar facilities, food vendors and a mechanical bull for aspiring bull riders.
Top Australian country musician Jade Gibson, who currently holds number one on the country iTunes charts, performed at the event and a Little Miss Rodeo and Little Master Rodeo event ran for those aged under 10.
This was judged by Miss Rodeo Ballarat 2019, Ally Tarpey, who awarded Isla and Cole, both from Violet Town the lucky winners.
Rodeo winners were:
■Leslie Moore took out the Open Barrel Race with a time of 15.7;
■Melissa Wilburn won the Breakaway Roping;
■Kelsey Pavlou won the Junior Steer Ride;
■ Ellie Gard claimed the Junior Barrel Race;
