It is also asking you to leave messages of support, by purchasing and writing your message on a Ritchies Conversation Bubble.
Costing just $2 and displayed in store, it counts as a donation to help start even more life-changing conversations.
Last year, almost 20,000 Ritchies Conversation Bubbles were purchased, sharing messages of hope, care and concern for others.
The messages can be displayed in store, or shared directly with a colleague, family member, friend or neighbour.
“Our friends, family members and workmates face life’s ups and downs every day of the year,” Ritchies director James Cameron said.
“We all have a role to play in looking out for one another.
“Ritchies IGA Supermarkets are supporting R U OK? for the third year, to do what we can to motivate our locals and help them to genuinely ask ‘are you okay?’ whenever we think someone might be struggling or going through a tough time.”
The theme for R U OK? Day this year is ‘R U OK? I’m here to hear’.
It reminds Australians to let the people in your life know you’re here and really hear them - because a conversation could change a life.
Drop into any Ritchies store between now and Tuesday, September 19 to grab your Ritchies Conversation Bubble.
