Police have arrested two men following an alleged burglary in Benalla on Thursday, March 14. Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Sydney Rd and disturbed two people who they allege were attempting to steal two vehicles. The males, aged 23 and 24, were charged with burglary and bailed to appear in court.
Police seeking owner of possibly stolen motorcycle
Police are appealing for assistance in identifying the owner of a motorcycle they found last week. Inquiries regarding the ownership of the Honda XR100 motorcycle have led police to believe it may have been stolen, and they are appealing for the owner to contact the Benalla Criminal Investigation Unit on 5760 0200.
Mobile phone and cash located
An OPPO mobile phone (reference 202403-E-1197) and a quantity of cash (reference 202403-E-0966) were handed in to Benalla Police Station recently. If you are the owner of the money or the phone, contact the property officer at Benalla Police Station in person or on 5760 0200.
