Victims and witnesses are being sought after a spate of assaults across Seymour in the past five months.
Mitchell Police Service Area Local Area Commander Inspector Peter Koger said six serious assaults had occurred across the town since November.
‘‘They suffered pretty bad facial injuries,’’ he said.
Rebel Blainey was arrested on March 13 and been charged with assault-related offences.
She appeared at Seymour Magistrates Court that day and she was remanded in custody overnight before being granted bail the next day.
She is due to appear at Shepparton Magistrates Court on April 26.
Insp Koger said he believed there were more victims who hadn’t reported assaults to police and witnesses who had yet to make statements.
‘‘If someone knows something or saw something or if you were a victim yourself, you can report it to Senior Sergeant Steve Conlin,’’ he said.

Three Broadford men, aged 22, 20 and 18, were each charged with 28 counts of criminal damage by graffiti.
The estimated cumulative cost of the damage incurred is more than $30000.

Machete siege
Seymour police were called to a siege in Wallan on Sunday when a machete-wielding man was arrested after a five-hour stand-off.
Mitchell Local Area Commander Inspector Peter Koger said Wallan, Seymour and Kilmore police were called to a family violence incident at a house at 1.58am when a highly agitated man had smashed windows and slashed a flywire screen while his young daughter was inside.
‘‘He was armed with a machete and when he eventually came out and challenged police, he was tasered,’’ he said.
No-one was injured during the siege.
The man has been remanded in custody to appear at Shepparton Magistrates Court at a later date.
