Goulburn Valley Water has reported that there has been no impact on water supply to customers in Shepparton, Mooroopna, Toolamba, Tallygaroopna and Congupna, and the treated tap water remains safe to drink.
However, in the event that flooding does take place, sandbags still remain to protect the treated water storage tanks and staff are on site 24/7 monitoring the treatment plant.
Drinking water continues to be taken by tanker to Nagambie and there are no concerns surrounding the capacity to continue doing so. The aim is to have the treatment plant in Nagambie back in operation by Friday.
The Barmah Water Treatment Plant continues to be protected from expected floodwaters and has sustained no damage so far.
There has been a small amount of floodwater overflow from the levee near the Wastewater Management Facility in Shepparton but there is no impact on the facility, with staff still able to access the site.
The majority of sewer system pump stations are operating across Shepparton. However, in some areas drains might run slower than usual, which is due to the large volumes of floodwater in the sewer system.
The minor overflow of wastewater at the Mooroopna Wastewater Management Facility is now under control, and treated wastewater has been released from the facility, with only half of the sewer pump systems in Mooroopna operating.
As for sewer pump stations in Murchison, they are fully functional again.
Staff crews have been positioned on both sides of the river to maintain services and respond to any arising issues.
