A visitor’s book, which has pride of place on the viewing platform alongside the water tank mural, was signed by visitors from five states of Australia and even had international content.
Kyabram Project Committee chair Allan Weeks said after counting March and April visitors he was amazed at the distance people had travelled to visit the town.
“I’m sure the businesses in town do not realise how many people are following the silo art trail, which we (Kyabram) are a part of and this result takes into consideration that not all people sign the book,” Mr Weeks said.
“All the towns listed below are taken from the signatures in the visitors’ book.
“It is amazing.”
West Australia, Tasmania, South Australia, NSW and ACT are all mentioned in the visitor’s book, along with international visitors from Malta, England and New Zealand.
There is a strong suburban Melbourne flavour to the book and several Geelong entries.
