The Bush Bus has reached the finalists for the Nectre Regional Service Award.
The award recognises regional and rural achievers and community contributors who helped raise their community’s profile.
It also acknowledges those helping to reshape and inspire their local communities.
A Bush Bus spokesperson said they were thrilled and honoured to be nominated for the awards two years in a row.
“We recognise the value of being connected to your local community and natural environment,” the spokesperson said.
Meanwhile, Rambling Wine Tours is up for the Best Wine Tourism and Hospitality Award.
It honours Victorians who lead and do their part to showcase the state as a destination of choice or provide exceptional guest experience through hospitality.
Rambling Wine Tours received a bronze medal in the Victorian Tourism Awards in 2022, but this is the first time they been nominated for a Community Achievement Award.
Rambling Wine Tours owner Sarah D’Orrio said the success of her business came from her passion for creating unique experiences for her customers.
“I want to help visitors discover and fall in love with not just eclectic vineyards and decadent food culture that our region has to offer, but also the awe-inspiring landscapes in Central Victoria,” she said.
The Victorian Community Achievement Awards will be presented on Friday, December 1 at the Sofitel in Melbourne.
