As of Monday, October 10, the Vic emergency said that minor flooding along the Goulburn River from Lake Eildon to Seymour which occurred over the weekend had eased, at 3.30 metres and falling, below the minor flood level.
On Friday, October 7 Delatite Rd, Telegraph Rd and the Whiteheads Creek crossing of the Goulburn Valley Hwy in Seymour along with Ashes Bridge Rd in Tallarook had all experienced flash flooding following a night of heavy rainfall.
The roads were later reopened once the flooding had subsided.
The SES were called out to three trees fallen on roads along with some police assistance call-outs for flooding on roads.
The SES wishes to remind the public that it only takes 15cm of water for a small car to float; approximately the height of a soft drink can.
