Mental health advocate Warren Davies to hold talks on flood recovery

Strong: Dubbed ‘The Unbreakable Farmer’, Warren Davies will discuss mental health and resiliency in Mitchell Shire.

‘The Unbreakable Farmer’ will be doing a series of talks focusing on mental health and flood recovery all over Mitchell Shire.

Warren Davies will be offering strategies designed to assist individuals in overcoming some of life’s biggest hurdles.

Mr Davies has travelled across Australia, holding talks on recovery from natural disasters, including floods, droughts and bushfires.

Mitchell Shire Mayor Fiona Stevens said she had seen neighbouring shires conduct this event and enjoy great results.

“Warren Davies, ‘The Unbreakable Farmer’, has helped countless people through tough times with his practical advice and powerful story of overcoming hardships,” she said.

The details of the events are as follows:

• Sunday, November 5, 1pm to 3pm at Buckley Park, 57 Blayney Ln, Nagambie.

• Sunday, November 12, 1pm to 3pm at Blue Tongue Berries, 445 Northwood Rd, Seymour.

• Sunday, November 19, 1pm to 3pm at Lions Park public barbecue facility, Euroa.

The sessions are free and open to all, with light snacks and refreshments provided.
