Guests enjoyed a short ceremony at the flag pole and were welcomed by Nagambie Primary School principal Rob French.
After some short tours of the school, attendees enjoyed lunch at the Nagambie Rowing Club and visited the Nagambie Museum.
The reunion was organised by coordinators Fay McLeod (nee Lyons) and Edna James (nee Hurren), who attended the school in the 1950s
“We spoke about holding a reunion after we attended one about 30 years ago. We felt it was time for another chance to catch up with everyone,” Edna said.
“It was amazing to have so many there to share the day. We have been overwhelmed with the response and support we received from former students of Nagambie Primary School and St Joseph’s.
“Family, friends and Facebook were also big helpers in making the day possible. Lost Nagambie has more than 1000 members and made spreading the word so much easier. Thanks to Gaye Bond.
“Also thanks to the school students helping out on the day and to Elaine Lodding for donating the prize for the raffle.”
