I started my career in journalism as a TV reporter in the Philippines, working for a state-owned network.
I moved to Australia in 2020 in search of better opportunities and unfortunately my first impression of this great country was during COVID-19 lockdowns.
I had a difficult time meeting people with all the restrictions in place, so I enrolled to do a Graduate Diploma of Journalism at RMIT University.
That was an excellent way to meet new people, make friends and make up for the year I missed during lockdowns.
I started my career in Australia working for various TV and radio networks, including SYN FM and the ABC.
It was a steep learning curve but a worthwhile experience that I enjoyed.
On Wednesday, September 27, I made the move Seymour to start at The Telegraph.
I love the town and this is an excellent opportunity to connect with local people and learn all about regional Victoria.
Having worked primarily in the city, I look forward to sharing the stories of people living and working in a beautiful regional area.
I love writing about people, places and agriculture and I look forward to covering local events.
I am passionate about meeting new people and am eager to get to know this wonderful community.
