In the search for some new star workers, McDonald’s is giving potential employees the opportunity to meet with a hiring manager instantly, without having to submit an application.
From 9am to 6pm on Saturday, May 28, anyone eligible to work in Victoria can walk into any of the 260 restaurants across the state and secure a five-minute job interview.
Local McDonald’s licensee Tully Lyster started his career with the company as a crew person more than 29 years ago before becoming a licensee.
“Macca’s is an exciting place to work that provides great skills and training, incredible career opportunities and a supportive and flexible culture,” he said.
“We are running the hiring blitz to help us connect with potential employees across the region who may be looking for casual, part-time or full-time work.
“Our restaurants are actively hiring people of all ages and experience levels across a variety of crew, management, barista and maintenance roles.”
With a workforce of more than 28,000 people hired over 260 restaurants in the state, McDonald’s is one of the largest employers in Victoria and across the country.
“We are passionate about providing our people with on-the-job skills and learning experiences, as well as the opportunity to pursue externally recognised training courses while they’re working with us,” Mr Lyster said.
He said regardless of whether people were looking to pick up casual work or embark on a career, McDonald’s was looking forward to meeting new people through the hiring blitz.
Potential employees in the region can visit McDonald’s in Seymour at 41 Emily St.
