Local primary schools celebrate Book Week

There were a lot of quirky characters popping up around the district last week as schools celebrated Book Week.

Students dressed up as their favourite characters and shared their favourite books.

The week included many book-related activities, including visits from authors to St Joseph's Nagambie and a story performance by staff at Nagambie Primary School.

The Telegraph captured celebrations from across the region.
