The day, observed on May 17 each year, draws attention to the harmful consequences of homophobia, biphobia and transphobia and promotes a world of tolerance, respect, awareness and freedom.
A tie-dye workshop was held at Seymour Youth Room on Tuesday, May 16, to mark the occasion.
Council also displayed rainbow flags at community centres and customer and library service centres for the week.
