Supporters of Bamawm equestrian rider Simone Pearce enjoyed a great evening on Wednesday, July 31, gathering to watch her ride the beautiful black stallion Destano at the Paris Olympic Games.

Simone finished the round with a score of 70.171, the highest-scoring Australian in the equestrian dressage team.
Supporters enjoyed watching the event on big screen, and the hospitality of staff at Border Inn Hotel in Moama made the evening even better.
Simone and her mother, Robyn Pearce, are from Bamawm.
Simone is based in Europe — following her equestrian dreams that started at the Rochester and Bawmawn Extension pony clubs.
The Australian team — made up of Simone, Jayden Brown and William Matthew — has made it through to the dressage team final, which will be held on Saturday, August 3, from 6pm Australian time.
