Greater Shepparton City Council is getting ready to begin the first stage of works in Lenne St, Mooroopna.
The area was identified for urgent drainage improvements following the riverine flooding event in October 2022 when the Lenne St drainage catchment in Mooroopna was severely impacted.
The works will mitigate the rain event issues in the area during sudden heavy downpours, and will be delivered in two stages.
Council is inviting residents in Lenne St and surrounding roads to attend an information drop-in session to ask any questions and get an update on the project.
The session will be heard on Monday, January 13 from 5pm to 6.30pm at the Mooroopna Education and Activity Centre at 23 Alexandra St, Mooroopna.
Residents are welcome to drop in during this time frame.
