Last year, the exhibit featured over 200 pieces of art, after having only commenced in 2022.
The objective of hArt is to highlight the significant talent of local artists of all ages across Mitchell Shire.
The three prize categories on offer, and the considerable cash prizes accompanying them, aid in fostering the growth of the winning artists.
Generous prizes await the winners: $500 cash each for the Open Age and First Nations Artist categories, and $300 for highly commended entries in both Open Age and Youth Artist categories, with the latter receiving the amount in art supply vouchers.
Eleanor Jones is now studying Visual Arts at La Trobe University in Bendigo.

Two-time Youth Artist prize winner Eleanor Jones said hArt was just one example of the opportunities open to artists in the shire.
“I think the culture of the arts in Mitchell Shire as a whole is really great,” Ms Jones said.
“I think there’s lots of opportunities for artists, and there’s a lot of talent.”
The 20-year-old hails from Broadford, but her passion for the arts has led her to Bendigo, where she is completing her studies in Visual Arts at La Trobe University.
Ms Jones said she recommended local artists apply for the 2025 hArt of Mitchell Exhibition.
“I found it easy to apply, and I think it’s really great,” Ms Jones said.
“Both years, there’s been a huge range of different styles, so I think if you’re interested in the arts at all, or if you have any work that you’re proud of, you should definitely apply.”
Applications for hArt are now open, and close on June 8 at 5pm.
The exhibition will open to the public on Saturday, July 26 and will run until Sunday, August 3.
The invite-only opening night and prize ceremony will be held on Friday, July 25 at 6pm, where prize winners will receive their awards.
