The start of spring is a great time to use the trails, parks and gardens in and around Deniliquin.
You could choose one of the various trails on offer like McLean to Willoughby’s Beach to Beach walk, or the path through the centre of Deniliquin which takes you along the lagoon system and to the skate park and Deniliquin Waring Gardens.
There’s also the the Deniliquin mountain bike trails in the Murray Valley Regional Park behind Memorial Park.
This popular single track cycling network is perfect for intermediate riders, covering 12km.
If you don’t have your own bike at home, bikes are available for hire at the Deniliquin Visitor Information Centre.
Bike riders are asked to please give way to walkers on the Willoughby Beach Walk and Billabong Loop Walk.
There’s also plenty of football and netball action to take in this weekend, with Picola League and Murray League finals being held across the region.
