A man has been charged over an alleged drink driving incident in Conargo.

About 9.50pm on Saturday, March 29, an officer attached to Murray River Police District was driving along Conargo Rd, Conargo, when he located a utility vehicle being driven dangerously.
A short time later, the vehicle stopped as directed by police.
The driver – a 74 year-old man – was subject to a roadside breath test, which returned a positive result.
He was arrested and taken to Deniliquin Police Station where a secondary breath analysis returned a reading of 0.150.
Subsequent checks revealed he is a disqualified driver until 2028.
He was issued a court attendance notice for drive with high range prescribed concentration of alcohol and drive motor vehicle during disqualification period.
