It was one of several new charges laid this week in relation to the February 21 incident.
The Deni man was served with a court attendance noticed for the new charges at Junee Correctional Facility, where has been remanded in custody since late February following initial charges.
Emergency services were called to a two-car collision on Pemberton St, West Albury, near Somerset Drive, about 2pm on February 21.
Police allege a utility struck the other vehicle, shunting it into a fence.
The 33 year-old male driver of the utility was taken to Albury Base Hospital for mandatory testing.
The 19 year-old female driver of the other car, who was pregnant, was treated for injuries to her stomach, back and shoulder.
She was taken to Albury Base Hospital, where she gave birth. The woman and her baby were later transferred to a hospital in Melbourne.
Her 41 year-old male passenger was also taken to Albury Base Hospital for elbow injuries.
Following inquiries, Murray River Police District officers conducted a further search of the utility and allegedly seized drugs, drug paraphernalia, $6300 cash, knuckledusters and number plates.
On Wednesday, February 26, officers were notified by the hospital the baby had died.
About 9.10am the same day, officers attended a Deniliquin unit where the 33 year-old man was arrested.
Police allegedly seized drugs from the unit, along with $2800 cash, a mobile phone and number plates, which police will allege were stolen.
He was taken to Deniliquin Police Station and charged with three counts of supply prohibited drug, three counts of possess prohibited drug, goods in personal custody suspected being stolen, two counts of recklessly deal with proceeds of crime less than or equal to $5000, possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit, hinder or resist police officer in the execution of duty and breach of bail.
He was refused bail and appeared before Albury Local Court on Thursday, February 27, where was formally refused bail.
Following further inquiries, detectives attended a correctional centre in Junee on Tuesday and issued the man with a court attendance notice for manslaughter, aggravated dangerous driving occasioning death-influence drug or drugs, aggravated dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm-influence drug or drugs and drive vehicle under influence of drugs.
He remains in custody and will appear in Wagga Wagga Local Court on Monday, April 28.
