Get Online Week will start across Australia on Monday, October 14, with more than 500 community organisations holding free events across the nation to support thousands of people to get online safely and with confidence.

U3A Benalla will get involved in Australia's largest community led digital inclusion campaign by hosting a Get Online Week event on Wednesday, October 16 at 11.30am at the Benalla Seniors Community Centre, 18 Fawckner Dve.
Its event is the Be Connected Program, which is aimed at people over 50 who want to strengthen their digital skills using their smartphone or tablet.
The talk at 11.30am will be followed by a free barbecue lunch on the verandah of the Benalla Seniors Centre. Please contact Helen Jeffree on 0490 092 267 if you wish to attend.

A meeting of minds is imagined between the atheist and psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud and the Christian author CS Lewis. The pair spar over the existence of God, and discuss the future of mankind.
These films will screen on Saturday, October 12 at 6.00 pm and Sunday, October 13 at 6pm. Sunday screening time has changed to 6pm due to daylight saving.
Friday Morning matinee - October 18
Susan Sarandon and Bette Midler star in the good value matinée film; The Fabulous Four(M), which will screen at 10.30am. This is a comedy-drama about two friends who travel to Florida to be bridesmaids in a surprise wedding of their old college girlfriend.
The friends reunite in Key West for a wild and hilarious vacation full of secrets, fights, and surprises. Morning tea is included in the $10 ticket and served before the film at 10am.
October 19 and 20
Screening first is the comedy-drama; The Fabulous Four(M), starring Susan Sarandon and Bette Midler. The description is written above from the matinée notes.
Screening second in the double bill is the inspiring biography of Helen Reddy; I Am Woman (M). The 1970s singer, activist and feminist icon Helen Reddy experienced a challenging time.
Arriving In New York, she struggled with misogyny in the music industry until she recorded the anthem of the women's’ movement, which brought her enormous success.

Benalla Seniors Festival - Morning Matinee - October 25
As part of the Benalla Seniors Festival, there is a low-cost screening of the heartwarming comedy, drama; June Again (M), starring, Noni Hazlehurst, Claudia Karvan and Stephen Curry.
Family matriarch June, has a fleeting bout of lucidity from her dementia, realises that she has precious little time to try and bring together her estranged children, save the family business, and rekindle an old flame!
Morning tea is included in the $5 Seniors ticket and served before the film at 10.00 am.
