The Seymour Men’s Shed open day is on December 4 at 7 Worrough Rd, off Wimble St (next to the SES shed), from 9am to 1pm.
Lots of items will be for sale including kids’ toys, wooden bowls, tables, garden planters and much more.
Carols by candlelight
The Lions Club of Seymour Goulburn’s popular carols by candlelight event returns on December 12.
Make sure to bring your Christmas cheer, warmed-up vocal cords, family and friends down to the Goulburn Park Sound Shell to celebrate the magic of Christmas.
The carols will commence at 5.30pm with drinks and a barbecue, while Santa Claus will be in attendance from 7pm.
The concert will begin at 7.30pm; free admission. Self-flame candles are $3 and bracelets $1.
Eddie Perfect in Avenel
Eddie Perfect will perform two shows in Avenel, one on December 10 and a matinee on December 11.
The show on December 11 will be dinner and a show from 6pm, tickets $55, while the Saturday matinee begins at 2pm and is $35.

Christmas night market
Get into the spirit of the Bunnings Christmas night market from 6pm to 8pm on December 9.
It’s a free event, with Bunnings sausages, drinks, fairy floss, popcorn and various community groups selling gifts and fundraising.
Santa will pay a visit, while various games and reptile encounters will also be on offer.
Christmas tree sale
The 1st Seymour Scout Group is holding its Christmas tree sale.
Click-and-collect is available with pick-up on December 4 and December 11 from the Seymour Scout Hall, Howe St entrance to Chittick Park, Seymour.

Nagambie events
Local church and community group representatives are organising the annual carols event to be held on December 5 at Nagambie’s Buckley Park from 5.30pm. For more information, email srfyfield@bigpond.com
The senior citizens’ Christmas lunch is on at the clubrooms on December 6.
The Kelvingrove Village Christmas dinner will be enjoyed in the village’s recreation hall on December 9.
Nagambie Rowing Club’s annual general meeting is on at 6pm on December 13.
The Nagambie Healthcare Christmas Fundraiser will be held on December 4 for annual Christmas drinks. Food and music event at Box Grove, 21 Lobbs Lane; 6-10pm. Tickets $50. Bookings 5736 2900. All guests must be double-vaxxed.

Nagambie Christmas community carols
Local church, schools, pre-school, community groups and local artists will be in the annual Carols evening program led by the Lakeside larks choir. Buckley Park, 5.30pm.

The next Nagambie Prayer Options Unified for Rain (POUR) service will be on December 3 at St Malachy’s.
