ENJOY Impact seniors exercise program
The Mitchell Shire Council is offering a series of free outdoor fitness sessions for older people in partnership with the National Ageing Research Institute as a part of The Enjoy Impact Research Project.
The sessions are guided by volunteers that have completed intensive training led by qualified instructors and NARI research staff.
Sessions are conducted on outdoor fitness equipment created for older people.
Volunteers provide general advice only and specific questions should be directed to your general practitioner.
The session will be held at Chittick Park in Pollard St, Seymour on Fridays, June 7, June 14, June 21, and June 28 from 10.15am to 11.15am
No bookings required and all are welcome.
Participants should wear suitable exercise clothing and footwear and bring a water bottle.
Sessions will not run in extremely wet, hot or windy weather.
Nagambie Auskick Program registraion
Wannabee Nagambie players can now register for the Auskick program on Saturdays from 8.30am until 9.30am at Nagambie Recreation Reserve.

Nagambie Men’s Shed
The Nagambie Lakes Men’s Shed guys are asking members of the public if anyone would like to help them out by removing the yucca plants in their small front garden border, so they can utilise the space in another way.
If anyone is interested, they can contact the members on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 8.30am at the men’s shed in Filson St and arrange the lifting and collection of the plants.

Back to the ’80s
The Nagambie Soccer Club will host a back to the ’80s party on Saturday, June 8, at the Nagambie Mechanics Hall from 7pm.
Patrons are asked to dress up in the theme for the night.
Enjoy some trivia, dancing, an auction, live music and share a grazing plate and have some great fun.

Kelvingrove Village is hosting a Christmas in June afternoon on Sunday, June 23, from 2pm to 4pm in the village hall.
