Discovery Parks celebration
Discovery Parks — Nagambie Lakes will celebrate the reopening of the park after flood recovery works.
The event from 2pm on Friday, April 12, will feature live entertainment, a range of family-friendly activities and local businesses providing food and beverages.
All are welcome to attend.
Anzac Day in Nagambie
On Thursday, April 25, Nagambie RSL is holding its annual Anzac Day service, featuring a Gunfire Breakfast starting at 5.30am.
Doors will open at 9.30am at the Mechanics Hall for the 10am start of service.
It will be followed by a short march to the cenotaph at approximately 11am for the Anzac Day ceremony.
All are welcome. Refreshments will be available at the RSL after the service.

On Friday, April 26, there will be an Anzac Day service at Nagambie Healthcare at 1.30pm.
The service will be on the front verandah if weather is kind.
U3A Melting Pot talk
You may have seen the new construction in Wimble St, Seymour.
Haven Seymour is housing with support for people experiencing mental health challenges.
Marnie Deller from Mind Australia will explain its support model for residents who can apply to live at Haven Seymour.
Seymour and District U3A will host this talk by Mind Australia and The Haven Foundation representatives at 1.30pm on Tuesday, April 2, at Chittick Community Place, Seymour.
This event is free and open to the public.
The presentation will continue the Melting Pot series of monthly talks presented to the community by Seymour and District U3A.
The presentation will be followed by afternoon tea and everyone is welcome to attend.
Art and craft show
On Saturday, April 6, local artists and more will showcase their art at the Kelvingrove Village hall, 127 High St, Nagambie, from 1pm to 4.30pm.
Entry is $2 and includes a small afternoon tea.
The fair is open to residents and community members with something to display.
Set-up day is Friday, April 5, from 11am until 4pm.
Entries close on Tuesday, April 2.

Seymour Alternative Farming Expo
The Goulburn Valley’s biggest regional event — the Seymour Alternative Farming Expo — is back, and tickets are now available.
Country Kitchen and Butcher Shop demonstrations, the National Whipcracking Championships and Beloka Kelpies will be some of the attractions at this year’s three-day expo.
More than 400 exhibitors will be there, including farm lectures, Learning Hub talks and the arts and crafts pavilion, as well as plenty of livestock.
The Seymour Alternative Farming Expo is on from Friday, April 12, to Sunday, April 14, at Kings Park, Seymour.
