Goulburn River Trail parkrun
The Goulburn River Trail parkrun starts at New Crossing Place on Manners St, Seymour, offering a picturesque route along the river.
It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors, stay active and connect with the community.
All are welcome to join this celebration of health and community spirit.

Seymour Show and Shine
The Seymour Goulburn Lions Club and the Seymour and District Car Club have partnered to put on this year’s show and shine.
Whether you are a car enthusiast or just keen to try something new, head to Kings Park, Seymour, on Monday, March 11, from 8am to 2pm, and there’s sure to be something to pique your interest.
You can expect a car show, swap meet, market, children’s rides and activities, auction, raffle draw, community group and services displays, live music, food vans and more at the event.
Entry is by gold coin donation.
International Women’s Day
Mitchell Shire Council is hosting a series of events for International Women’s day on Thursday, March 7 and Friday, March 8.
With the theme ‘Count her in: Accelerating gender equality through economic empowerment’, council has partnered with The SEED Project for EmpowerHER free workshops.
The workshops include an introduction to resume writing, introduction to cover letters, financial wellbeing/empowerment taster, lunch and professional headshots happening on March 7 at the Broadford Living and Learning Centre.
On Friday, there will be an EmpowerHER mini retreat at Greater Beveridge Community Centre, including yoga and sound bowl healing, mindfulness, massage and reiki.
Limited spots are available, so bookings are essential.

The Seymour Volunteer Group of Cancer Council Victoria will host ‘Morning Tea and More’ on Thursday, March 21, from 10am until noon at the Senior Citizens’ Hall in Seymour.
