Annual garage sale
Pick up bargains and special finds at the massive Webb Ave Seymour Garage Sale.
The event will run on Saturday, November 18, from 9am to 2pm, with some houses going through until Sunday, November 19.
The Seymour Lions Club will be manning a barbecue with food and drinks available.
Santa will be making a special appearance on the street from 9.30am for all the kids.
Poppy appeal
The Nagambie RSL sub-branch members are selling red poppies until November 11 for Remembrance Day.
All proceeds raised will assist veterans and their families.
Residents are requested to please support this worthy cause.
Remembrance Day
The Nagambie RSL sub-branch will conduct a Remembrance Day ceremony on Saturday, November 11 at the cenotaph at 11am.
All veterans, their families and community members are invited to attend in honour of those who died in the defence of our country.
Attendees are asked to arrive at 10.45am.
The RSL will serve refreshments in the clubrooms following the ceremony.
Garden blessing
Following the Remembrance Day ceremony, residents are invited to attend a short blessing of Nagambie’s Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Rose Garden on Saturday, November 11.
Due to inclement weather, Rev Richard Pennington could not push through the blessing on September 8.
Rose donors, local groups and garden supporters are invited to attend at 11.20am near the water tower for a short blessing.

Nagambie Bowls Club social night
Nagambie Bowls Club is hosting the Nagambie Cup social night on Saturday, November 11.
Tickets are $30 per person with early booking and $35 on the night.
It includes dinner and horse racing.
Prizes await for the best hat, but hats are optional.
