Nagambie Historical Society is encouraging district collectors and those with treasured memorabilia to join them at Nagambie Golf Club on November 14.
The inaugural Out of the Box: Collectables and Ephemera Show and Tell will allow people to meet other collectors, and display and talk about their items in a relaxed atmosphere.
The event will run from 11am to 3pm and will include lunch. Seating may be limited due to COVID-19 restrictions, so early booking is advised. Bookings close October 31.
Tickets are $30 and include lunch and perpetual tea and coffee. Drinks at bar prices.
The car park is spacious with flat access, and full facilities are available at the clubhouse.

Suicide Awareness Walk
New mental health initiative Goulburn Valley Suicide Awareness Group is taking registrations for its inaugural Suicide Awareness Walk on November 21.
The 2km walk, taking place to commemorate World Suicide Prevention Day, will begin at Yea Railway Station, with participants walking to Two Bridges and back.

Local churches have resumed their Sunday services under COVID-19 restrictions.
The lockdown in Mitchell Shire has lifted so the Uniting and Anglican ministers who live in Seymour can now resume conducting services in Nagambie and Avenel as well as their Seymour churches.

Prayer Options Unified for Rain
The next Nagambie Prayer Options Unified for Rain (POUR) service will be on December 3 at St Malachy’s. It’s every two months if COVID-19 restrictions allow.
St Malachy’s will host a bring your own lunch at the back of the church following the noon prayer service. Possibly a Christmas theme for lunch.
