• An ecumenical Lenten discussion group has been organised by the Catholic church folk. It will start on Thursday, March 3, at 1pm, then continue for five more weeks on Thursdays at 11am. The sessions last one hour. For information, phone Sally Fyfield at Nagambie or Fr Tony Hill for other centres.
• Friday, March 4, is International World Day of Prayer. St Malachy’s Nagambie will host the service at its Mary MacKillop Hall from 11am. St Joseph’s Primary School children will be joining in the service.
Subject countries are Northern Ireland, England and Wales. If you have any mementos from those countries, you are invited to take them along for show and tell.
The service will be followed by a BYO lunch in hall. Tea and coffee will be provided.
