We’ve increased the prize pool to $5600 so we can give away another $100 prize today.
Up for grabs in the promotion, intended to encourage people to shop local in the lead up to Christmas, are Deniliquin Business Chamber Why Leave Town Deni gift cards.
We’ve already given away $500 in cards, with winners so far being Sue Clancy (for a purchase from Mokanger Butchery), Debra Flenley (Deniliquin Betta Home Living), Shae McCulloch (Hardman Intersport), Katherine Chernov (Lulu on Napier) and Lindsay Green (Diggers), who donated his prize last week to Navorina Aged Care.
All tickets in an entry box or the main entry barrel by 9am today will be included in today’s draw for a sixth gift card.
And all you have to do to be in the running is to keep shopping locally.
You earn an entry ticket for every $20 spent with a participating local business, up to a maximum of 10 tickets in any one transaction.
And if your name is plucked from the entry barrel, you win some handy shopping money.
After today’s draw, we’ll have $5000 in gift cards to give away in three draws next Friday, December 20.
One draw is worth $500, another is $1500 and the main prize is $3000 in gift cards.
But if you miss today’s deadline, or your name is not drawn today, never fear. All tickets remain in the barrel for the life of the promotion.
The Golden Bunny Bonanza is a Deniliquin Pastoral Times initiative, supported by the Deniliquin Business Chamber and other local businesses.
