Beyond Housing had to close its office a year ago and move to temporary locations after the floods devastated its main office.
Chief executive Celia Adams said it took $90,000 to repair the location after the floods.
She said the Seymour team showed true resilience in the face of adversity.
“Remarkably, many of our staff were personally affected by the floods yet remained steadfast in their commitment to serving those in need in the community,” she said.
Ms Adams said the renovation also allowed staff to reimagine and enhance their workspace.
“We’ve expanded our reception area, made our client and intake rooms more purposeful, and added an accessible toilet,” she said.
Ms Adams thanked the Seymour staff and all those involved, especially their project manager, who oversaw the renovation.
She said the true essence of Beyond Housing was not in bricks and mortar but in the resilience and dedication of their staff and the trust of their clients.
“As we commence this new chapter, let us carry forward the spirit of resilience, adaptability and unyielding dedication to service that has guided us through the past year’s challenges,” she said.
