Berrigan is sport central this weekend

This Saturday, the Murray Valley Cricket Association’s A-grade cricket grand final will be played at Berrigan Sportsground and the bowls grand finals will be played at the Berrigan Community Club.

Congratulations to both the cricket club and bowls club for having and preparing wonderful facilities for the region.

To have both events happening on the one weekend is a testament to the wonderful volunteers of both clubs.

Congratulations to all involved.

The World Day of Prayer service will be held in the Uniting Church this Friday from 10am.

Morning tea will follow the service.

All are welcome to attend.

The Berrigan Local Health Advisory Committee invites the community to the unveiling of the Heather Barclay OAM Memorial Plaque.

It honours her work in health in our community over many years.

The unveiling will be held this Sunday from 3pm at the Madill Centre.

Afternoon tea will follow the formal proceedings.

Sunday’s golf tee off time is now at 12.30pm. All golfers welcome.

Friday tee off is at 3pm, and Saturday at 2pm.
