Breakfast Club is a popular event that was trialled last year, hailed as a huge success and developed into an ongoing initiative.
In addition to the yummy food, students also have a chance to socialise with their peers and teachers in a relaxed and casual format, setting them up for a successful day.
Teacher Nicky Greenaway said Avenel Primary School had a strong focus on student wellbeing and emotional health.
“This is just one of the ways students are catered for in this area,” she said.
