Committee member Wendy Willingham said the number of stalls was still increasing and it was a great chance for those who were organised to buy some Christmas presents, with a great mix of items available.
“Our make it, bake it, grow it motto sees items for sale that are not available anywhere else,” she said.
Listen to some music, sip on a coffee, browse the goods and stroll under the shade trees while checking out all the goods and produce. You might even get to chat to a friendly alpaca.
Come along and support local producers for a great way to spend a Sunday morning with family and friends.
Another date not to miss is the twilight market on December 11.
There will be food trucks, entertainment and all the usual stalls. But for an extra a bit of zing, musicians will be popping up at different locations around Avenel during the day.
The entertainment has been made possible by a grant from Strathbogie Shire Council to host a weekend of music at various local businesses, including the twilight market.
“Roaming Rhythms will give people the opportunity to listen to various musicians while enjoying all that Avenel has to offer. Stayed tuned for further details,” Wendy said.
